Step 1: Log In to Facebook Business Manager (FBM)
Use your own FBM Admin credentials to log in.
Critical: Do not use your agency’s FBM account. The display name may be rejected if linked to an agency’s Business Manager.
Step 2: Select or Create an FBM Account
Choose your main FBM account (where you have admin rights).
If needed, create a new FBM account during this step.
Step 3: Create a New WhatsApp Business Account
Always select “Create a new WhatsApp Business Account”.
Do not reuse or link existing accounts.
Step 4: Fill Business Information
Provide accurate details:
Display Name (visible to customers; must align with your business name).
Business Category (select the most relevant option).
Timezone (match your business operations location).
Step 5: Input Phone Number & Verification Method
Enter the phone number you are registering (ensure it is accessible).
Choose a verification method:
SMS or Voice Call.
Step 6: Verify the Code
Retrieve the 6-digit code sent to your phone number.
Enter the code promptly to complete verification.
Important Notes:
Use only your own FBM account to avoid display name rejection.
Ensure the phone number is not linked to any existing WhatsApp account (personal or Business API).
