Unlike other tools, 360dialog simplifies your search, generating automated Performance Audiences. This article explains how to access and use these highly targeted lists to further enhance your results with Performance Messaging.

What are Performance Audiences

Performance Audiences is a targeting feature that dynamically segments users based on their real-time interactions with your business. These highly targeted lists are delivered to Meta Audiences for retargeting and remarketing Campaigns.

This feature also amplifies your business reach by enabling the creation of lookalike audiences and users who didn’t receive your marketing messages due to Meta’s new limit per user.

With Performance Audiences, you can:

Run More Effective Retargeting Campaigns

Target people who’ve already engaged with your brand, increasing the likelihood of conversion.

Example: Let’s say a customer viewed a product on your website but didn’t complete the purchase. Performance Audiences automatically adds them to a refreshed list, allowing you to send personalized WhatsApp messages to bring them back. This approach increases your chances of converting their initial interest into a sale.

Automate Audience Refreshing

Struggling with manual updates? Performance Audiences automates it daily, saving you time and ensuring your campaigns always target the most relevant users.

Example: You no longer need to adjust your audience lists manually. Performance Audiences captures new user interactions—such as someone messaging your business on WhatsApp—and adds them to your target list. Now, your campaigns are always aligned with the latest user engagement.

How Performance Audiences Work

While you can manually create custom audiences based on different criteria in your Ads Manager, our feature automatically generates these audiences for you.

To access your Performance Audiences, click on the “Audiences” menu at the top of the page.

Currently, our platform displays 4 different Performance Audiences:

  • Started Conversation: users that started the conversation with your business

  • Engaged: users that completed a specific funnel event but with $0 revenue

  • Purchased: users that completed a purchase event

  • Undelivered Audiences: users who didn’t receive marketing messages due to Meta’s new update

Performance Audiences are updated daily, so when a lead who was “engaged” makes a purchase, for example, they will move from the “engaged” list to the “purchased” list automatically.

How to use Performance Audiences

You can use your Performance Audiences directly in your Meta Ads Manager as Custom Audiences or create Lookalike Audiences.

Accessing 360dialog Performance Audiences on your Ads Manager

Your Performance Audiences are saved directly to your Ads Manager. You can access and use them by following simple steps:

1. Open the Audiences page on Ads Manager: https://adsmanager.facebook.com/adsmanager/audience

2. Search the audience per “category + 360dialog” and select

For example, if you want to reach the users who completed a purchase with you, search by “purchased 360dialog”.

To view all audiences generated by 360dialog, you can search just “360dialog” in your Ads Manager.

Creating a Lookalike Audience from 360dialog Performance Audience

A Lookalike Audience is a list of people who may be interested in your company or product because they share characteristics with your current customers.

Before you begin, check the Meta’s requirements.

1. Open Audiences page on Ads Manager: https://adsmanager.facebook.com/adsmanager/audience

2. Select “Create audience”, then “Lookalike audience”.

3. Select “Create new source”.

4. Upload your Performance Audience list in CSV or TXT format

5. Select audience location and size (percentage of the population of the audience location you chose).

7. Press “Create audience”.

It’s done! Now you can amplify your business reach, ensuring you will target the most relevant users.
